Beta V1.29.15 live — Undead Mode & Sphere Dummy are out now
Dummy Defense Guide

Best towers in Dummy Defense

Quick answer

For raw value the Sniper Dummy and Officer Dummy carry the early game, Dummy Base scales into the mid game, and endgame slots go to the Titan mechs once you clear Controller Mode and the lobby tape quests.

Every Dummy Defense tier list online ranks towers by how they feel. This one ranks them by what the stat tables actually say: damage per level, total cash cost, Bricks price, and how early you can field them. Rankings below assume a normal progression account — no gamepasses, no admin towers.

How this tier list is built

Towers are grouped by role, then judged on cost efficiency — the wiki's own metric, calculated as total cash spent per point of final-level DPS. A $18,500 tower that hits 222 DPS ($83 per DPS) beats a $59,000 tower that hits 189 (over $300 per DPS) for a progressing account, every time. The community wiki's damage tables are the source (most current at V1.28.14, with V1.29.15 reworks applied where the wiki shows them), and prices/levels were checked September 30, 2026.

S tier — build your account around these

TowerUnlockBricksWhy it is here
Large DummyLevel 156,000~$83 per DPS at max — the best cost efficiency in the game, 222 DPS for $18,500 total, and 15 placement slots
Shotgunner Scale DummyLevel 306,000300 DPS for ~$107 per DPS, on top of close-range splash and a kick that knocks enemies back — offense plus utility
Business DummyLevel 01,200Not about damage at all: it prints cash during runs, and every other purchase in this list gets easier once it exists

A tier — the workhorses

TowerUnlockBricksWhy
ScaleDummyLevel 030080 DPS for $10,200 total (~$128/DPS) — the best efficiency you can buy on day one
Sniper DummyFree—Only 26 DPS at max, but 40 range and hidden detection from level 3 — the cheap answer to invisible enemies
Flamethrower DummyLevel 51,850Damage-over-time plus built-in hidden detection; the wiki's recommended early stealth counter
Dummy BaseLevel 102,500A wall that fights back — one of the few towers with a stated Cost Efficiency line in the wiki
Surgeon BotLevel 256,750Heals your damaged towers and gains an attack drone at max level — your line stops dying from a thousand cuts
Mortar ScaleDummyLevel 153,000Slow but huge damage at very long range; the splash is what saves you when waves clump up

B tier — situationally great

These earn their slot once you know why you are buying them:

  • BlockDummy (level 0, 750 Bricks) — the cheapest real upgrade over the starter Dummy, with very fast attacks that rip through early swarms. It stops being a damage answer around the time Large Army unlocks.
  • Large BlockDummy (level 20, 6,500) — slow, massive single hits and high range. Pairs well behind a chokepoint where it can line up shots.
  • Officer Dummy (level 25, 9,000) — boosts nearby allies' fire rate and calls in soldier support. A force multiplier once you have a cluster worth buffing, dead weight if you spread out.
  • Radio Dummy (level 20, 4,500) — the range-and-damage buff aura. Same logic as the Officer: parking it next to your S-tier towers is the whole point.
  • Tank Dummy (level 30, 13,000) — a bruiser at ~$312 per DPS, but its durability lets it hold forward spots other towers cannot.

The Titans — endgame, not starters

Titan mechs are limit-one units with abilities, and they cost Bricks and a level gate and a five-figure cash placement. For when you are done tinkering:
