Dummy Defense gamemodes
Normal modes are Team Noob, Team Guest and Noob Battalion. Special modes — Sandbox, Endless, Controller and Operation Blackout — plus the hidden Noob Experiment and the new Undead Mode hide behind maps and vote menus.
Dummy Defense groups its match types into Normal and Special modes, then hides two more behind map tricks and vote menus. The ladder matters: each normal-mode clear unlocks a system the next mode expects you to have, and the hidden modes pay the most.
Normal modes
The three normal modes are played in order, and each one ends in a boss whose badge carries the reward. Team Noob is the default lobby vote; Noob Battalion is the difficulty spike.

Autoskip automates the wave-start vote and sits in the bottom-left corner — it is the single biggest quality-of-life unlock in the game. The Ability system adds a shop where Gold buys airstrikes, walls and similar one-shot tools. Team Guest sends robot enemies; Noob Battalion swaps in Cadet variants, Bomb Control Cars and Drone Noobs.
Special modes
Operation Blackout, Controller, Endless and Sandbox sit in the Special category. The first two are unlock gates for permanent upgrades:

Noob Experiment Mode
The hidden 7th mode, added May 23, 2026, and by community consensus one of the hardest in the game: the enemies hit like bosses, some outrange your towers, and the economy is deliberately awful. It pays 4,750 Bricks + 2,000 Exp per clear — among the best payouts anywhere.
To vote it in:
- Open map selection and scroll to the map crossroads — it has an EVENT label above its name.
- Select crossroads to gain access to its extra mode choices.
- In the mode menu, click the "normal mode" button at the top of the screen twice.
The roster comes from Flippidee's Noob Experiment series plus custom units by MrMax: an enemy that shells your towers from long range with a back-cannon, one that heals other enemies when it dies, and the usual Experiment Noob family scaling from Fast up to Gigant. The run ends at Necro Disguise 2.0 — roughly 1.6 million effective health — whose "Defeat Necro Disguise" badge marks the clear.
Undead Mode
The newest mode, shipped in V1.29 alongside the Sphere Dummy. The Undead Faction opens with the Infected Dummy on wave 1 — 13 HP, sprints at your line, health-based attacks. The mode's last boss is the Plague Doctor; beating him grants the "Defeat Plague Doctor" badge, which unlocks a lore tape for the lobby TV, a tag, and the Sphere Dummy in the shop.
The Undead faction's documentation is still thin — the community wiki lists only the Infected Dummy so far — so treat enemy counts here as provisional.

Exact Bricks and Exp payouts are only documented for Noob Experiment — the other modes reward their badge unlocks first and their cash second.
