Dummy Defense enemies
Three factions invade: Noobs (the classic yellow wave), Guests (faster and tougher), and the Undead — the new mode's infected. Hidden enemies need detection from Flamethrower Dummy or max-level upgrades.
The Noobs, Guests and Undead have all invaded — the community wiki counts 140+ enemy units across the three factions. Most die to more damage, but a handful of traits (Hidden, No Cash, anti-fire, flying) decide whether your defense holds.

Three factions
| Faction | Signature threat | Where you meet it |
|---|---|---|
| Noob Faction | Speed runners, healers, tanks, stealth units | Team Noob, Noob Battalion, Operation Blackout, Noob Experiment |
| Guest Faction | Machines that detonate on death and stun your towers | Team Guest, Operation Blackout |
| Undead Faction | Fast mutated dummies that sprint from wave 1 | Undead Mode |
Each faction builds on a baseline unit — the ordinary Noob is your first-wave scout. The specialized versions below are where builds start to matter.
The Noob family
Health and speed values are the wiki's V1.29.15 figures.
| Enemy | Health | Speed | Trait | How to counter |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fast Noob | 10 | 6.72 | Unarmored runner, no weapon | Any steady stream of damage |
| Rusher Noob | 150 | 10 | Faster and stronger; won't stop for anything | Long-range coverage that hits it early |
| Strong Noob | 40 | 3.09 | Helmet and protective vest; slightly slower | Sustained DPS — it soaks lighter fire |
| Medic Noob | 100 | 4 | Heals wounded Noobs and vehicles about every 8 seconds | Burst it first so it can't undo your damage |
| Ninja Noob | 20 | 4 | Hidden, and No Cash | Towers with hidden detection only |
| Lava Noob | 800 | 1.5 | Fireproof and very slow; No Cash | Non-fire DPS — bring "harder guns" |
| Glitch Noob | 5 | 13 | 8,000 armor, 10% resistance, No Cash; rams path units and dies near your base | Concentrated burst before it clears the lane |
| Jetpack Noob | 30 | 4.25 | Flies high — needs 30 range to even be hit | Long-range units or a Titan |
Noob Experiment opens with the Experiment Noob, the highest-HP starter enemy in any mode — the wiki's counter is blunt: get a high-DPS starter (Builder Scale Dummy, Shotgunner) online first. Blackout and Battalion then add patrol, tank and stealth variants.
The Guest family
The Guests invaded right after the G Noob fell. Both known units carry a C4 backpack and explode on death, releasing a blast that stuns your towers — no damage, just silence at the worst possible moment.
- Robot Guest — 125 health, 20% damage resistance, speed 8. Metal body and anti-burn, so fire is a poor answer.
- Large Robot Guest — 250 health plus a 150 armor pool, 25% resistance, speed 10, and No Cash — it pays nothing on death, and it will die on your defense.
The Undead family
The newest faction arrived with Undead Mode, and its roster is still small: the Infected Dummy (13 health, speed 6) appears at wave 1 and sprints in with no self-preservation — trivial alone, dangerous in numbers. The mode's headliner is the Plague Doctor, whose badge gates the Sphere Dummy purchase.
Hidden enemies and detection
Hidden is the modifier that actually ends runs. Hidden units like the Ninja Noob can only be hit by towers carrying hidden detection, and detection often unlocks partway up an upgrade path — Flamethrower Dummy gets it at level 3 of 5, and its burn reveals hidden enemies to every friendly tower. At level 5 its fire also ignores fire immunity — the exact counter to Lava Noobs.
Bosses are not enemy waves
The G Noob, the Plague Doctor and Necro Disguise 2.0 aren't enemy types for a bestiary — they're boss encounters with their own counterplay, covered on the Titans & bosses page.
